DOOM releases next week and according to id Software’s lead renderer programmer, Tiago Sousa, it will feature a “Ultra Nightmare” graphics setting on the PC. As Tiago confirmed, Ultra Nightmare will be a step above Ultra settings.

In other words, we are currently looking at five possible presets, which will most likely be: Low, Medium, High, Ultra, Ultra Nightmare.
It will be interesting to see whether there will be any noticeable differences between Ultra and Ultra Nightmate, and whether this new graphics setting will justify its GPU requirements.
Stay tuned for more!
