Fallout London new feature

Fallout London will be slightly delayed, will be compatible with Fallout 4 Next-Gen

The team behind the DLC-sized expansion mod for Fallout 4, Fallout: London, was planning to release it on April 23rd. However, Bethesda revealed that it will release a Next-Gen Update for Fallout 4 on April 25th. As such, the team has decided to slightly delay the mod to make it compatible with it.

Project Lead, Dean Carter, claimed that this new update will break a lot of core features of Fallout: London. For instance, the team expects the F4SE script to be incompatible with the Next-Gen Version of Fallout 4, and Fallout London relies heavily on it.

To be honest, this is understandable. The Fallout London team has been working on this fan expansion mod for years. So, releasing it just so that the expansion will be a broken mess after 48 hours is really not an option. Instead, the team will do its best to fix the compatibility issues, and then release it.

Unfortunately, there is no ETA on when the mod will come out now. Since the mod relies on the F4SE script, its author will have to make it compatible with Fallout 4 Next-Gen. Once that’s done, the team will try to resolve all the other compatibility issues.

Fallout: London is a big expansion mod for Bethesda’s RPG. It will take players right into the nuclear aftermath and all the way to the Parliament building. This mod changes everything, like the world you explore, the groups you meet, and the stories you follow. Players can also expect to encounter new people, and find new cool weapons. And yes, you can also expect to be fighting new enemies. In other words, this is a total conversion that will change everything in the game.

Speaking of Fallout 4, we also suggest downloading these other mods for it. Do note though that they might not be compatible with the Next-Gen Update once it comes out. Anyway, you can find a LOD mod that reduces distant objects/shadows/textures pop-ins. Then we have the Disk Cache Enabler Mod. There’s also a mod that adds ragdoll physics and collisions to dead bodies. Another amazing mod is this one that fixes the game’s long loading times. DirectHit is a mod that overhauls the AI of enemies. And let’s not forget this mod that adds real locational damage to all enemies.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
