Final Fantasy XV is a game that has been rumoured to be coming to the PC. Even though Square Enix has not officially revealed anything yet, we are pretty sure that it will, eventually, hit our platform. And according to its director, Hajime Tabata, it would take a whole year to create a proper PC version of it.
As Tabata told VidaExtra, it would take the development team a year to properly create a PC version of Final Fantasy XV.
Tabata has already stated that a PC version of Final Fantasy XV – if it ever happens – will be a real tech showcase, and better than the console version. As such, the team will have to adapt the engine and from there to develop the actual game.
It’s worth noting that the engine already runs superbly on the PC platform. Square Enix has already showcased prototype/test builds of Final Fantasy XV running on the PC at various conventions.
So yeah, if there ever is a PC version of Final Fantasy XV, it will take a while until it’s ready. Still, we are pretty sure that it will be worth the wait and effort!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
