Mass Effect fans, it appears you won’t be returning to this franchise in 2016. During an investor call, Electronic Arts revealed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released during its Q4 2016 fiscal year. This basically means that EA plans to release the game sometime between January to March 2017.
Moreover, the publisher confirmed that the new Titanfall and the new Battlefield games are coming during its Q3 2016 fiscal year (which translates to Q4 2016 calendar year).
As EA’s chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen said:
“We’ve got our Battlefield first-person shooter coming in the third quarter, and our third party title that Respawn built… it’s called Titanfall… it’s the second title they brought out under that brand.
Both those are first-person shooter and will be targeted around both fast action-driven shooter market as well as the strategy driven market in the quarter.
We have all our sports games, we have Mirror’s Edge, a runner game coming out in the first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter. So big year ahead and we’re pretty excited.”

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
