A couple of days ago, we informed you about NVIDIA’s plans to release a driver update that will tune what’s allocated where in memory to further improve performance. While those were the exact words of NVIDIA’s forum moderator, it appears that the company won’t release any driver specifically for the GTX970.
As NVIDIA tweeted a while ago, it won’t release any driver update with specific or special improvements for the GTX970.
“We are always improving performance through drivers but there are no plans for an update specifically for the GTX 970.”
And that is that.
Oh, and while we are at it, here is one of the best parody videos we’ve ever seen.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
