These past few days, there were various reports about the release date of Risen 2. A lot of gaming sites were claiming that the game was delayed, however things are not as bad as you initially thought. Well, that is if you are a PC gamer, as Risen 2: Dark Waters is still planned for an April 27th release on our beloved platform. The versions that got delayed were the console versions, so keep reading.
Risen 2: Dark Waters was initially announced for an April 24th release on Xbox 360, Windows PC, and PlayStation 3 for USA and Canada and on April 27th in European countries. In a recent press release though, Deep Silver updated the release dates and some media did not pay attention to them. According to that press release, Risen 2: Dark Waters will be released for X360 and PS3 on May 22, 2012 in the USA and Canada and April 27 for Windows PC.
Risen 2: Dark Waters will be available via digital distribution for PC, and for both PC and consoles as a retail version, as well as a Collector’s Edition in certain territories.
