It’s a fact that Serious Sam 2 was a hate/love game. It had some pretty amazing ideas (and the humor was still there) but it was not very similar to the old Serious Sam games in a lot of ways. And if you are one of those who didn’t have the chance to actually play it, you will have so in a few days as Devolver Digital has revealed that the game will be coming to both Steam and GetGames this week.
As Devolver tweeted a few hours ago:
“If you’ve been waiting for the classic Serious Sam 2 to come to Steam and Get Games then this is your week!”
Awesome. In case you were unaware of, Croteam has expressed their desire to revisit this game and remake it, though nothing is certain at this point. The team is busy right now with developing the console versions of Serious Sam 3: BFE so yeah, don’t expect a proper Serious Sam 2 remake anytime soon!
