Rumor alert everyone. According to Polish website GRY-Online, the second expansion of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood and Wine, will be released on June 7th. While GRY-Online was quick to react and edited its page for Blood and Wine, our reader ‘psycho_warhead’ has shared with us the following image, showing the release date for this upcoming expansion.
Whether this was an error from GRY-Online’s part or a placeholder date remains to be seen. Given the fact that the page was edited, we are pretty sure that this date is legit.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
UPDATE:
GRY-Online’s Editor In Chief got in touch with us and confirmed that this date was a placeholder and nothing more.
“I’m the editor-in-chief at GRYOnline.pl, the website that supposedly “leaked” the date. Unfortunately, I have bad news. The date that we set was a placeholder date, because all the official information point to Q2. The 7th of June was just an estimated date.
The way our date system is constructed, we have no option to set a more general date like Q2.
There is no confirmation yet as to when The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be released. We’re really sorry for the misunderstanding, the date is now completely hidden on the game’s Encyclopedic entry.”
Here is also the official cover artwork for this expansion.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
