Ubisoft’s community manager, Natchai Stappers, claimed yesterday that there won’t be any microtransactions in Tom Clancy’s The Division. Of course this is good news, as a lot of gamers feared that The Division would turn into a P2W game. Stappers claimed that this won’t be the case here.

It will be interesting to see whether Ubisoft will be able to keep microtransactions away from The Division. After all, OVERKILL Software also claimed that PAYDAY 2 would not have any microtransactions, but we all know what actually happened with this game a couple of years after its release.
