Upcoming Dragon’s Dogma 2 Patch Will Improve CPU Load

Capcom announced that it’s working on a new patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that will improve its CPU load. So, in theory, this upcoming update will improve performance in various CPU-bound scenes, like in towns.

Capcom has already made some CPU improvements to the game. Still, it’s good to know that the team is working on even more CPU performance optimizations.

This upcoming update will also reduce crashes and bring additional adjustments.

Sadly, there is no word yet on when it will come out. Moreover, there are no plans to add support for Path Tracing. That’s a bummer as PC gamers can already force it via this mod. The only downside to the PT Mod is that it doesn’t have a denoiser. As such, the image is full of noise artifacts.

Speaking of DD2, there are some other cool mods that you can download for it. These mods, though, may not be compatible with this new vocation mod.

You can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have this mod that prevents you from falling off rocks and cliffs. Moreover, we have the Assassin and Samurai custom vocation/classes. There is also this mod that attempts to make the game feel more like Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.

Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use the highest quality normal maps, and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.

Stay tuned for more!
