Creative Assembly and Feral Interactive announced Title Update 5.0 for Total War: Warhammer III which adds new free content to the game.
According to its key features, Patch 5.0 will add a new Lord to Immortal Empires. This new Lord is Epidemius, who is Nurgle’s chosen Tallyman and one of the seven Proctors of Pestilence. Within the Immortal Empires campaign, Epidemius ventures forth from the Forest of Decay.
Moreover, this new update will add a new hero type, the Gold Wizards. Gold Wizards will be most effective when supporting armies from a distance, using their inherent mastery of the Lore of Metal to reduce even their enemies. They can increase their battlefield manoeuvrability through the unlocking of the Barded Warhorse or Imperial Pegasus. Plus, they can be thrown into the front lines to “bonk people on the head with their massive metal staff.”
The devs plan to release this update on April 30th. Additionally, they will reveal its full changelog before this patch hits the Internet.
Total War: Warhammer III came out in February 2022, and has been constantly supported by CA and Feral Interactive. The fact we’re getting free content two years after its release is also a nice touch. Yes yes, the game still has its paid DLCs. But hey, at least there is also free stuff for those who don’t want to buy the DLCs.
