It appears that reviewers have already received their samples for AMD’s latest graphics card, the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64. As such, the first 3DMark benchmarks have surfaced and from the looks of it – and as we’ve already suspected – this GPU is somewhere between the GTX1080 and the GTX1080Ti.
Do note that the reviewers have been using different PC configurations. And while different CPUs do not really affect 3DMark’s GPU scores, it’s something worth stating at least. Moreover, the clock speeds reported by 3DMark are peak clocks, meaning that the AMD Radeon RX Vega – as well as the other graphics cards – may have been overclocked during these tests.
As we can see, the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 performs a bit better than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080. Naturally, and as we’ve already predicted, AMD’s latest graphics card is unable to match the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti. And while these results are simply from a benchmark tool, they should give you a slight idea of what you can expect from this new AMD GPU.
