AMD has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.1 offers optimal performance in The Evil Within 2 and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. As such, we strongly suggest downloading it if you are planning to play these two games.
The AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.1 adds Radeon Chill profile for these two aforementioned games. Radeon Chill is a power-saving feature that basically caps framerates to improve overall power use. Radeon Chill also lowers temps and improves battery life.
This new driver also comes with a fix for DiRT 4 may experience flickering tire graphics on multi-GPU systems. Also, it makes it possible to apply Bezel compensation in mixed mode Eyefinity.
