343 Industries has revealed two new features that will be coming to Halo Wars 2. According to the team, a new update will introduce Xbox Arena and cross-play between the Xbox One and the Windows 10 versions.
Xbox Arena will let players organize and conduct their own online tournaments in Halo Wars 2. Xbox Arena tournaments can be created or joined from either the Halo Wars 2 game hub or via an Xbox Club.
On the other hand, cross-play will allow Xbox One players to play with the PC gamers. 343 Industries has worked hard to deliver this feature and final testing indicates it’s ready for release. Therefore, this highly requested feature will be in the next Halo Wars 2 update.
343 Industries has been really supporting Halo Wars 2. Perhaps the biggest – and most crucial – update was the one that brought significant performance improvements to it. Halo Wars 2 initially suffered from performance issues, however the team was able to resolve them.
