Ubisoft has announced that For Honor will be free to play this weekend. From November 9th, players will be able to download and play this fighting melee game. The free weekend will offer all the game’s modes, maps and heroes, and will end on November 12th.
For Honor offers both a campaign and multiplayer modes. Players embody warriors of the three Great Factions – Knights, Vikings and Samurai – fighting to the death on intense and believable melee battlefields. The Art of Battle, the game’s innovative combat system that puts players in total control of their warriors, allows them to utilise the unique skills and combat style of each Hero to vanquish all enemies who stand in their way.
For Honor is one of the few Ubisoft games that were not downgraded. Not only that, but the game performs incredibly well on the PC platform.
Unfortunately, though, the game has suffered from cheaters and the initial lack of dedicated servers. Thankfully, Ubisoft has added support to them via a post-launch patch, however its playerbase is not that high. Perhaps this free weekend will improve things.
Players will be able to preload the game starting from November 7th to 9th via UPLAY.
