THQ Nordic and Square Enix have announced that Black Mirror and Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K and Full HD Remaster are now available on the PC. Developed in partnership with tri-Ace, the prequel to the original STAR OCEAN game has been remastered in full high-definition. This basically means that the game comes with added 4K support and PC keyboard/mouse and controller support.
The action-packed role-playing game takes players on an epic journey across the universe in an immersive story of survival. Players can enjoy quintessential STAR OCEAN features, including strategic real-time combat. The game also features a deep Item Creation System and Private Action system. These systems explore character relationships and subplots for a richer and more rewarding story. Furthermore, it packs an exhilarating Blindside battle system, which fuses evasion and offense.
On the other hand, Black Mirror is a modern re-imagining of the acclaimed gothic-horror adventure series. The new protagonist, David Gordon, must deal with the mysteries of Black Mirror castle. Furthermore, he must find out if there is an ongoing curse on his family. Like in the original graphic adventure trilogy, the Gothic Horror genre and its unique atmosphere of madness and psychological distress remain at the heart of Black Mirror. The point-and-click gameplay of the original trilogy served as the basis for the re-imagined gameplay, which focuses on close-up investigation and interaction with nightmarish visions that plague the protagonist of the game David Gordon.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
