NIS America has announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will release on the PC on January 30th. The game was originally meant to hit the PC in September 2017, however, NIS America decided to delay that particular version in order to further optimize it.
In addition, the team has opened the signups for the game’s beta phase so those interested can visit this link in order to participate in it.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is a third person action RPG in which players will follow Adol on his latest adventure and uncover the mysteries of a cursed island. Players will be able to change their playable character on-the-fly as they battle ferocious foes in lightning-fast combat. Players will also be able to rescue their fellow shipwrecked passengers and bring them to their village where they will provide valuable services.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
