Kotaku has reported that Spyro Trilogy may find its way to the PC in 2019. According to Kotaku, a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster is currently under development and will be announced for PS4 in March 2018. However, this will only be timed-exclusive to PS4, meaning that this trilogy will come to other platforms (and most probably to the PC).
According to Kotaku’s sources, this Spyro the Dragon Trilogy will feature new assets, lighting, animations and cinematics, as well as a remastered soundtrack.
This will definitely excite some PC gamers as it appears that both Crash and Spyro are indeed coming to our platform. After all, Activision – according to reports – does plan to bring the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy to the PC later this year.
It will be interesting to see a) whether Activision will announce a PC version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in the next few months and b) whether the publisher will reveal the Spyro Trilogy in March 2018.
Stay tuned for more!
