It’s been almost a month since the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have finally revealed their roadmap for patches. According to Tomoko Hiroki, game producer at Bandai Namco, the first patch for Dragon Ball FighterZ will come out later this month.
As Tomoko Hiroki said, this first patch for Dragon Ball FighterZ will address some of the game’s online issues, including the Ring Match and disconnection issues. However, Hiroki noted that this first patch may not resolve all of the game’s issues. As such, the team will release a second patch on mid and late March.
Dragon Ball FighterZ has been selling well for Bandai Namco, so we believe that the team should be focusing on fixing these online issues instead of promoting its new DLCs. Because yesterday, the team showcased Bardock and Broly that will be coming to this fighting game as its first DLC.
It will be interesting to see whether these patches will finally make it possible to enjoy the game online because right now it’s a mess. SFV may have lackedĀ a meaningful single-player content, however, its online mode worked like a charm. And while Tekken 7 had some online issues, those issues were nowhere close to what we’re currently experiencing with Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Here is hoping that these upcoming patch will fix at least most of the game’s online issues!
