Frontier’s upcoming dino park builder, Jurassic World Evolution, will release this Summer and according to its development team, it will not support mods at launch. Not only that, but players will not be able to upload and share their own creations.
This was revealed in an interview with the German magazine PCGames. Now things may change as there are still two and a half months since the game’s release.
Jurassic World Evolution places players in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities.
It was also revealed in that interview that the game will feature 40 different dinosaurs and five islands. Frontier also plans to release new DLCs similar to those who received in Planet Coaster.
Jurassic World Evolution releases on June 12th!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
