Frontier has announced that Jurassic World Evolution has sold more than one million copies worldwide on all platforms. Jurassic World Evolution is a new dino park management game that came out on the PC on June 12th.
Despite the fact that the game uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech and does not support mods, it has managed to hit its one million milestone in a little more than a month, so that’s good news for Frontier. Frontier did not reveal any specific platform sales unfortunately, however the game currently has mostly positive reviews on Steam.
Frontier CEO David Braben said:
“We are really pleased with Jurassic World Evolution and are delighted to have crossed the 1 million unit threshold so quickly. There is no doubt that initial sales have benefitted from the worldwide awareness created by the film release, but it’s the quality of the game that’s really important and I believe our team have done a terrific job in creating a game that a wide range of players are now enjoying around the world”.
