EVO 2018 begins later today and almost all of its roster will be free to play on Steam this weekend. This basically means thatĀ Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7 and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be free to play. Alongside them, Absolver will also be free to play this weekend.
As you may have guessed, all the aforementioned titles have also been discounted. So basically, you can get to try these games and then purchase them at a lower price (which is kind of cool).
EVO 2018 is the biggest fighting tournament and I can’t personally wait for it. Although I was a huge Daigo fan (back in the glorious Ryu days), I’m now a Tokido fan as both Daigo and Infiltration have abandoned Ryu and Akuma, respectively. I’m also looking forward to the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament.
Have fun everyone!
UPDATE:
While Dragon Ball FighterZ was available as free to play yesterday, it appears that the game won’t be during this weekend.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
