NVIDIA has officially registered the “Turing” trademark, hinting at its new and upcoming gaming graphics cards. We’ve known for a while that NVIDIA’s new GPUs would be based on the Turing architecture, but this is the first time that NVIDIA has officially confirmed its existence.
Furthermore, NVIDIA also applied for two new RTX trademarks; the Quadro RTX and the GeForce RTX. Not only that, but YouTube’s ‘AdoredTV’ has shared a video, claiming that the new gaming graphics cards will be called NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20XX and that the green team also prepares a new Titan card.
AdoredTV has also shared some estimates about the performance of these new gaming graphics cards. Since this information has not been confirmed yet, we strongly suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
As AdoredTV claimed, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 will be 8% faster than the GTX1080Ti and 50% faster than the GTX1080, whereas the new Titan GPU will be 15% faster than the Titan V and 50% faster than the GTX1080Ti. Both these cards will be coming out later this August.
