As promised, id Software and Bethesda has revealed at QuakeCon 2018 the first gameplay footage for DOOM Eternal. Bethesda presented three gameplay videos, showing lots of gameplay action. What’s really cool here is that in the second video id Software also showcased the PC version, played with mouse and keyboard. As such, we strongly suggest checking out the videos, especially if you are fans of the series.
Developed by id Software, DOOM Eternal promises to bring the ultimate combination of speed and power with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.
As the DOOM Slayer, players will return to take theirr vengeance against the forces of Hell. Set to an all-new pulse pounding soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon, players will fight across dimensions as they slay new and classic demons with powerful new weapons and abilities.
Unfortunately Bethesda did not reveal any release date window, so we are most likely looking at a 2019 (or even a 2020 release).
The first it features the first two gameplay videos and the second is the third gameplay video. We’ll update the story with the official ones as soon as they become available!
Here is the official gameplay video!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
