The team behind the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, has released a new video showing the huge performance and graphics improvements of its latest version in triple-A games such as Red Dead Redemption, God of War 3 and Uncharted.
The amazing news here is that Uncharted is now almost playable as it can be played with almost 30fps, something that wasn’t possible in previous versions.
God of War 3 on the other hand still remains unplayable, however, there are now less artifacts and glitches.
Red Dead Redemption saw a small performance boost, however it’s nowhere close to being playable. As we’ve already said, it will take a lot of work to make this game work properly and it may not be playable (meaning 30fps) until 2019. Or at least that’s our guess.
Still, these are really exciting steps towards emulating some of the best Playstation 3 games to date, so we have to congratulate the RPCS3 for its dedication.
Enjoy the video and stay tuned for more!
