In an interview with Team VVV, Ralph Fulton revealed that Forza Horizon 3 has surpassed 10 million players worldwide. The latest iteration of Forza Horizon will soon be released and the previous milestone, the 9 million players goal, was broken in July 2018.
According to Ralph Fulton, Playground Games can learn from that enormous number of players in order to offer a better product with Forza Horizon 4. Playground Games can learn the game’s player types and styles, and confirms that this analysis had shaped Forza Horizon 4.
Forza Horizon 3 came out almost two years ago, on September 27th and initially suffered from major CPU issues. Playground Games and Turn10 dedicated their efforts in order to improve overall CPU scaling and released on May 9th, 2017, a performance patch that resolved the game’s CPU issues. Thankfully, Forza Horizon 4 does not suffer from its predecessor’s awful launch and performs incredibly well on the PC from the get-go.
Forza Horizon 4 features over over 450 cars, will support cross-play between Xbox and Windows 10, will feature a simplified chat system, and is currently scheduled for an October 2nd release!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
