IGN has shared a new video, showing 15 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from the Tokyo Game Show 2018 build of Devil May Cry 5. Contrary to its official trailer, though, this new gameplay footage focuses solely on Dante.
This new gameplay video will give you an idea of Dante’s combos and the combo system that has been implemented in the game. It also packs the Devil Trigger soundtrack (I don’t know if this has anything to do with some accusations regarding the band that was responsible for Dante’s battle theme).
To be honest, I got massive Devil May Cry 4 vibes from this gameplay video (which is good in my opinion as I enjoyed DMC4). So if you didn’t like that game and preferred Ninja Theory’s DmC version, you may also not like this new Devil May Cry game.
Devil May Cry 5 is powered by the RE Engine and is currently planned for a March 8th, 2019, release!
