It appears that the team behind the best Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, has made incredible progress lately. YouTube’s ‘Emulators for PC’ has shared some videos from its latest version, showing Blue Dragon, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST and more running on the PC via this emulator.
Emulators for PC used an Intel Xeon e3-1240 V2 @ 3.6 GHz with 8GB of DDR3-1866MHz RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti. Obviously, a Xeon CPU is not powerful enough to run this emulator so don’t get discouraged by the framerates your are about to see in these videos.
Furthermore, it appears that Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST can be played but they are not perfectly emulated yet. In fact, and with the exception of Condemned, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Blue Dragon, pretty much all the other games suffer from major graphical glitches.
Still, we believe that it is really amazing that this Xbox 360 emulator can even boot/run these triple-A games. Not only that, but users with really high-end CPU may be able to run these games at 30fps (I know, not ideal but they can be considered to be running at full speed as they were locked at 30fps on Xbox 360). Here is hoping that the developers will be able to resolve all these graphical glitches in the next future releases!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
