Modders Albert and Cris have released some new screenshots from a new, unreleased, version of Resident Evil 4 HD Project, showing new improved character models for Leon, Ada and the male Ganados.
Albert has re-created textures various textures, rounded the fingertips during cutscenes, added real eye shine, rounded shoulders, sleeve, and flashlight for Leon (the non-coat version), improved Leon’s shoulder holster (left band) so that it doesn’t clip anymore through his shirt, added hi-poly in-game heads for Leon and Ada (based on their cut-scenes versions), hi-poly arms, hands, neck and other details for Ada, and restored Ada’s dress physics.
In order to showcase these changes, Albert released the following comparison screenshots between the vanilla and the fan remastered versions of Resident Evil 4.
As always, the modders have managed to stay as close to the original material as possible. Seriously, this whole HD project is better than a lot of official remasters for other games, and is completely free.
There is no ETA on when the next big update for Resident Evil 4 HD Project will come out, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
