EIDOS Montreal and Nixxes have released a brand new PC patch for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. According to the release notes, this latest update improves MultiGPU stability and usability of voice-chat feature (for co-op multiplayer), and fixes various crashes.
Going into more details, the November 20th update packs fixes for crashes and hangs that could occur when interacting with specific items, for stereoscopic 3D when using DX12 and for crashes on startup on particular configurations.
Furthermore, Nixxes restructured the game-data to reduce disc space usage and to allow for a smaller download size for new players. However, this initial patch is larger than usual and it’s around 5GB in size.
As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client and you can find its complete changelog below.
