JUMP FORCE is the latest PC release from Bandai Namco that does not use Denuvo

JUMP FORCE is a game that a lot of manga/anime fans are looking forward to. The game releases on February 15th, however its Ultimate Edition has been available for a while and we can confirm that the game will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

This is the second PC release in a raw from Bandai Namco that does not use the controversial anti-tamper tech. While Ace Combat 7 was protected by Denuvo, both God Eater 3 and JUMP FORCE do not use it.

I don’t know the reasons behind this decision or whether this is a taste of things to come regarding Bandai Namco’s future releases. The point is that this anime/manga 3D brawler is only protected by Steam’s DRM and that’s something that will please all those that boycott Denuvo games.

Bandai Namco has been using Denuvo in a lot of its titles so it’s really refreshing witnessing new PC releases from this publisher without the anti-tamper tech. SEGA is also another publisher that has not used Denuvo in its latest PC games. Yakuza 0 is no longer protected by Denuvo and Yakuza Kiwami will most likely not be using it too.
