Fade to Silence is a new single-player and co-op survival adventure game that has left Early Access and has been fully released on Steam. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, the game set in a post-apocalyptic world that is frozen in an eternal winter, and below you can find some 4K screenshots from its final/retail version.
In order to capture these screenshots, we used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080Ti and as we can see, NVIDIA’s flagship GPU was able to run the game with 60fps in 4K and on Ultra settings. And to be honest, I’m a pleasantly surprised by the game’s overall performance as its Early Access version had major performance issues.
Fade to Silence is a really beautiful game with some amazing weather and snow deformation effects. The game also packs some really cool lighting effects (volumetric lighting for God Rays is also supported), there is a fully dynamic day/night cycle and the environments look stunning. However, I do have to say that the human characters are not as detailed as those found in most other modern-day games, and the lip-syncing in the cut-scenes is mediocre.
Still, and given the fact that this game comes from a small team, I do have to say that I was really pleased with the visuals that are being displayed here.
