Yesterday, Epic Games launched the first big sale for the Epic Games Store. However, it appears that some publishers/developers were not willing to participate in it and as such, both Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 and Oxygen Not Included have been removed from the Epic Games Store.
As Paradox Interactive stated, the game will return on the Epic Games Store once the Epic Mega Sale has ended.
“We are in discussion with Epic regarding the temporary removal of Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 from the Epic Game Store. The game will return to the store soon! Any purchases made while the game was discounted during the Epic Mega Sale will be honored and no Masquerade violations will be assessed.”
Now as you may have also noticed, Ubisoft’s games are nowhere to be found in the Epic Games Store right now. However, and contrary to the aforementioned games, Ubisoft’s titles were removed before the launch of the Epic Mega Sale.
From what we know so far, there is some issue with the interaction between the Epic Games Store and Uplay, and both Epic Games and Ubisoft are working in order to resolve this issue.
So yeah… apparently… things are not going smoothly for Epic’s first Mega Sale!
