Square Enix has announced that the first gameplay footage for Marvel’s Avengers will be shown at San Diego Comic Con 2019. However, it appears that this gameplay footage will be available only to those that will attend this event, and will not be streamed online.
This is pretty much similar to what CD Projekt RED did with Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019 so I’m pretty sure that some gamers will be greatly disappointed by this news.
San Diego Comic-Con 2019 begins on July 18th and will last until July 21st. My guess is that Square Enix will reveal a gameplay trailer – or even showcase the same gameplay video – one month later at Gamescom 2019… or at least that’s the most logical thing to do.
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source.
Marvel’s Avengers is described as an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. The game will not feature any lootboxes or pay to win mechanics, however, it will feature microtransactions for skins.
The game is scheduled for a May 15th, 2020, release!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
