Capcom has released a brand new update for the PC version of Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. According to the release notes, Update 12.11.00 is 2.3GB in size, and adds both Stygian Zinogre and Safi’jiiva to the game.
Moreover, this latest update adds a cutscene that unlocks the Tundra Region in the Guiding Lands. It also new weapon trees, armor, and skills, as well as a tempered version of Ruiner Nergigante.
Naturally, this patch also comes with a number of bug fixes. For instance, it fixes an issue where the resolution of monster figures would not change correctly when zooming in on them. It also fixes a freeze bug that occurred when selecting an item from the Canteen at the exact moment another player uses a voucher.
Update 12.11.00 also comes with some PC-specific tweaks and fixes. As such, the Steam overlay no longer appears automatically when you receive friend requests during gameplay. The VRAM Usage window in the options now has a more obvious display to warn you when you are trying to use DirectX 12 with 3.50 GB of available VRAM or less. Also, this patch adds a new keybind option for “Quest Return Selection” for melee and ranged weapon controls.
As always, Steam will download this latest update the next time you launch its client. You can also find its complete changelog here.
