You probably already know that Wasteland 3 has been delayed. The game was scheduled to be released this March. Therefore, it will finally be released in April of this year.
InXile Entertainment will be hosting a Closed Beta of the game for the backers. Unfortunately only backers who gave twenty five or more dollars will be eligible for participation.
The Beta will be going live at 9am PDT, March 17th. Backers will be receiving an email from Crown Ox that includes a Wasteland 3 Beta key. The code will need to be redeemed only through Steam. You will be able to download the game client after the listed launch time.
Alpha testers of the game will not need a Beta key in order to gain access to the Beta. In case you run into any issues with updating, make sure you uninstall and reinstall the game.
According to the developer, the Beta will be instrumental in helping them to make sure that the title is as polished, exciting, and fun as we have come to expect. Participants should not hesitate to share their reports directly with the developers via the feedback site, which is linked to from the Beta’s main menu.
Wasteland 3 will be released on May 19th.
