A couple of hours ago, Electronic Arts officially announced its latest Star Wars game. Following that announcement, the publisher has also released the first official Star Wars Squadrons screenshots, as well as the official PC system requirements. Star Wars Squadrons is a first-person space dogfighting game that will be using the Frostbite Engine and will release on October 2nd.
According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need at least an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or an Intel I5-7600 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7850 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. Furthermore, the game will require 30GB of free hard-disk space.
EA recommends using an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G or an Intel Intel I7-7700 with 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 480 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. Also note that the VR requirements are higher than the non-VR requirements.
