After an ARG, Activision revealed that it will officially announce the next Call of Duty game on August 26th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared a new teaser trailer that you can find below.
From what we know so far, Call of Duty 2020 will be using the Modern Warfare Engine. The game will explore the Vietnam War a lot more than the original Black Ops. Moreover, it will be more realistic and based more on real events compared to the original Black Ops. Not only that, but it will be more gory than last year’s MW and will have a lot of shocking moments similar to Modern Warfare.
In June 2020, a work in progress video appeared from the game’s multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, Activision took it down so it may be a bit hard to find that exact video. However, later that month YouTuber Xclusive Ace leaked some details about the game’s multiplayer modes. As the YouTuber noted, COD 2020 will feature Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies Modes. Additionally, COD’s battle royale mode, COD Warzone, will be available in it.
As the title suggests, this new COD game will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Enjoy the teaser trailer and stay tuned for more!
