The embargo review for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX3090 has been lifted and below you can find numerous gaming benchmarks. According to these benchmarks, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX3090 is around 45% faster than the RTX2080Ti in 4K resolutions.
Going into more details, Guru3D reports that the RTX3090 is 9fps faster than the RTX3080 and 28fps faster than the RTX2080Ti in 4K in Borderlands 3. Moreover, the RTX3090 is 11fps faster than the RTX3080 in Metro Exodus.
HardwareUnboxed reports that the RTX3090 is faster by 45% than the RTX2080Ti on average. For comparison purposes, the RTX3080 is 30% faster on average than the RTX2080Ti.
Tomshardware states that the RTX3090 can run Red Dead Redemption 2 in 4K/Ultra with 83fps. According to its data, the RTX3090 is 7fps faster than the RTX3080, and 16fps faster than the RTX2080Ti. This latest GPU can also run in 4K/Ultra Far Cry 5 and Forza Horizon 4 with more than 100fps.
TechPowerUp has tested a custom RTX3090 model, the ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 STRIX OC. As TechPowerUp noted, this GPU can run Project CARS 3 with 85fps in 4K/Ultra. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can also run with more than 90fps in 4K.
Do note that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX3090 comes with 24GB of VRAM, and its MSRP is set at $1499. From the looks of it, this GPU offers around 10-15% faster performance than the RTX3080. So yeah, it’s up to you to decide whether this extra performance justifies its really high price!
