Mortal Kombat fans, here is something really special for you today. AG 3D Art and his brother have created an HD Remake of Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero in Unreal Engine 4.
This first version of the Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero Fan Remake in Unreal Engine 4 features a training area that is basically the entrance to the Shaolin temple. Additionally, it features – and let’s you complete the Shaolin Temple level from the original game. And yes, you can fight Scorpion at the end of the level.
According to the team, both Sub-Zero and Ermac are playable characters in this fan remake. Moreover, players can use either a controller or a keyboard in order to play it.
The team claims that a bonus level, similar to the Wind Temple, is currently in development. However, we don’t know whether there are any plans to remake other levels.
What’s also really cool here is that AG 3D Art has created new models for both Sub-Zero and Ermac. These high-quality 3D models reminded those of Mortal Kombat 4 (from its CG sequences). In short, they are old-school, high-quality, and look retro-amazing.
Oh, and did we mention the lovely cheesy original live-action scenes? Yeap, these also appear to be present in this fan remake.

Have fun!
