Black Mesa Source could very well be the new DNF phenomenon. It has been in development for so many years and since we haven’t got any news about it for so long, a lot of gamers have started thinking that this could be a vaporware and nothing more. Well, good news for everyone as a new gameplay footage has been leaked, showing the beginning of the game and the memorable train sequence. Now you could say that it looks a bit dated but compared to the original game, this looks like a pretty damn good overhaul. Word has it that this is an older build – about three years old. No release date has been announced as of yet for Black Mesa Source, though our guess is that it might see the light of day in 2012. Fingers crossed.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
