YouTube’s ‘Gaming with Griff Griffin’ has shared a video, showing The Ascent in first-person mode. The Ascent uses Unreal Engine 4 and in order to enable this FPS mode, the YouTuber used the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker.
In case you weren’t aware of, the Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker can add a free camera, add timestop, add a hud toggle and re-create the in-game console. UUU4 supports all Unreal Engine 4 games, so theoretically you can use it in all of them.
You can download UUU4 from here. Once installed, you can run its executable while The Ascent is running. Then, you can use the console window and type in commands to trigger different effects. You can enable the free flythrough camera via the ‘toggledebugcamera’ code.
The Ascent is a solo and co-op action-shooter RPG set in a sci-fi cyberpunk world. In this shooter, players can aim low or high, switch weapons and equip lethal gadgets. Players can also take cover and use the destructible environments at their advantage and keep adjusting their tactic as they face new enemies.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
