Bethesda has just announced that both Starfield and Redfall have been delayed until the first half of 2023. According to the company, the dev teams of these two games need a bit more time in order to polish them.
Redfall was originally targeting a Summer 2022 release. On the other hand, Starfield was meant to come out on November 11th.
Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios. In this next-generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, players will be able to create any character they want and explore with unparalleled freedom as they embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.
Redfall is an open-world co-op FPS that aims to bring Arkane’s signature gameplay to the co-operative action and FPS genres. The game promises to blend single- and multiplayer options seamlessly. Moreover, it will allow the player to venture into the darkness alone or to squad-up with up to three friends. Teammates will also be able to try different hero loadouts. Furthermore, they can combine their strengths to overcome the vampire legion and their brood of maniacal followers.
What’s really funny here is that a lot of players were looking forward to Starfield’s release. After all, there aren’t any major triple-A games coming out this year. Or at least I can’t think of one that I’m really looking forward to. I was hyped for games like STALKER 2, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, The Day Before, and The Witcher 3 Next-Gen, but all of them have been delayed.
Stay tuned for more!
