IO Interactive has announced that the PC version of Hitman 3 will support Ray Tracing effects on May 24th. The company will be using Ray Tracing in order to enhance the game’s reflections and shadows. Additionally, IO Interactive will also add support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR 1.0.
Since the game won’t support ray-traced Global Illumination or Ambient Occlusion, we can safely say that these Ray Tracing effects won’t bring major image improvements. Sure thing, there will be more shadows and better reflections. However, these are the least impressive Ray Tracing effects that developers can apply in their games (at least in our opinion).
IO Interactive has also revealed the game’s official Ray Tracing PC Requirements that you can find below.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
