Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s single-player campaign, showcasing 30 seconds of gameplay footage from it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II drops players into an unprecedented global conflict that features the return of the iconic Operators of Task Force 141. From small-scale, high-stakes infiltration tactical ops to highly classified missions, players will deploy alongside friends in a truly immersive experience.
The game promises to feature an all-new gun handling, advanced AI system, a new Gunsmith and a suite of other gameplay and graphical innovations.
COD: MW2 will feature a physically based material system, and a new hybrid tile-based streaming system. It will also have a new PBR decal rendering system, world volumetric lighting, and a new GPU geometry pipeline.
Activision claims that those who pre-order the game will be able to play the SP campaign one week prior to its release. Needless to say that this sucks for those that want to experience it. After all, Activision is forcing players to pre-order the game in case they don’t want everything to be spoiled to them. But hey, at least the developers will be fine with this, and won’t get as angry as when insiders leak major story elements of their game. Ah, the hypocrisy!
