IO Interactive has announced that a new single-player mode for Hitman 3, called Freelancer, will release on January 26th, 2023. This new SP mode will be available for free to all owners of the game.
Freelancer is a brand new, single-player mode that introduces roguelike elements, strategic planning and a customisable safehouse. According to the team, Freelancer will let you experience the game like never before. Moreover, Freelancer will include almost all locations from the World of Assassination from day one.
IO Interactive plans to launch a Closed Technical Test for Freelancer in November 2022.
In the Closed Technical Test, beta testers will have access to the core elements of Freelancer: from customising the safehouse, to eliminating syndicate leaders and unlocking mastery.
More details about this closed beta will arrive on October 27th. IO Interactive then plans to officially release this mode on January 26th, 2023.
