YouTube’s ‘Digital Dreams’ has shared a video, showcasing The Witcher 3 running in 8K on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. In order to capture this gameplay footage, Digital Dreams used Immersive Lighting 2.2, as well as 100 other mods.
Although the YouTuber has not clarified, this appears to be the original and not the Next-Gen version of The Witcher 3. I mean, you can tell this by the use of a Reshade Ray Tracing Mod (which also introduces various graphical glitches). If this was the Next-Gen version, there wouldn’t be any reason of using Reshader for RT.
What’s also amazing here is how good the game can look. Even without its native Ray Tracing effects, The Witcher 3 is a looker. Sure thing, this is a heavily modded version. However, it can easily compete with its Next-Gen version.
Lastly, Digital Dreams shared the modlist they’ve used. Thus, you can go ahead and download all the mods from here. You can also download Immersive Lighting 2.2 from here.
Have fun!
