It appears that the release date for the highly anticipated STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl may have been leaked by Koch Media’s Store. However, since this date has not been confirmed by GSC GameWorld, we strongly suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
As spotted by Andrew Marmo, Plaion (Koch Media’s store) has listed STALKER 2 for a December 1st, 2023 release date.
Plaion/Koch Media Store has listed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl for December 1st 2023 release.
This is most likely accurate as other titles have placeholder dates of December 31st 2023, They have previously leaked dates including Darksiders 2 for Nintendo Switch. pic.twitter.com/GxxCsdFyEo

From the looks of it, this doesn’t appear to be a placeholder date. As Marmo noted, other games have placeholder dates of December 31st. December 1st is also a Friday, which could hint at a legit leak. Not only that, but Plaion had previously leaked the release date of Darksiders 2 for Nintendo Switch.
Again, while this leak could be real, we suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
From what we know, Microsoft and GSC GameWorld will showcase STALKER 2 at Gamescom 2023. Attendees will be able to play a demo of it, and we’ll most likely get a new trailer for it. So, my guess is that this upcoming STALKER 2 trailer will include at the end its actual release date.
STALKER 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature incredible graphics. You can also find here the game’s preliminary PC requirement.
