Activision has released a new video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, showcasing 9 minutes of gameplay from it. This video shows off the game’s first campaign mission, in which Alpha team makes entry from the water as Bravo and Charlie teams assist in an operation conducted in the Kastovian Sea.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 10th. And while the publisher has not shared any tech details, it will be interesting to see whether it will have any Ray Tracing effects. Although Modern Warfare 2 didn’t feature any RT, the first Modern Warfare game supported ray-traced shadows.
Activision has also confirmed that COD: MW3 will feature a Zombies Mode. According to its description, this will be the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) will tell a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features, and secrets to discover.
Lastly, Activision shared some new multiplayer details. In Modern Warfare 3, all 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been modernized with new modes and gameplay features and will be available at launch.
It’s also worth noting that COD: MW3 will support NVIDIA DLSS 3. However, there is still no word on whether it will have any Ray Tracing effects.
