AMD has just released its optimized driver for Bethesda’s upcoming title, Starfield. According to the release notes, the AMD Adrenalin Edition 23.8.2 driver improves performance in Starfield by up to 16% on the Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs.
Moreover, this new driver resolves an application crash or driver timeout in Baldur’s Gate 3 with the DirectX 11 API on certain systems with Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs.
For those wondering, this will be the driver that we’ll use for our upcoming Starfield PC Performance Analysis. The game will unlock in a few hours, and during the weekend we’ll be able to share our first impressions. In theory, our PC Performance Analysis will go live this Sunday or Monday.
You can go ahead and download the AMD Adrenalin Edition 23.8.2 driver from here. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
